OrgSupport was founded in 2006 by Craig Ottavelli. With six years of experience as a communications coordinator for the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges and a lifetime of volunteerism with local nonprofits, he recognized a need to marry low-cost staffing services with the unique needs of nonprofit boards and executive directors.

	Craig Ottavelli Craig's formal training is in higher education and policy analysis. He earned a Bachelor's degree from The Evergreen State College and a Master's degree from Dartmouth College; he is 'all but dissertation' status at the University of Southern California for his Ph.D. Craig's professional background is in communications, marketing, client management, and education. Before founding OrgSupport, Craig worked as a communications coordinator and grant manager for the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. In addition to his work with OrgSupport and as a member of many nonprofit boards, Craig served as a publicly elected member of the Olympia City Council. His work as an elected official afforded a unique opportunity to learn the needs of both municipalities and organizations that serve the communities within which they operate. His extensive service to the community has uniquely positioned Craig, and the OrgSupport and EventSupport family of companies, to provide the acumen and experience organizations need to succeed in their marketplace.
	Timmian Smith Timmian has an extensive background in both the education sector and office support. She has worked in nonprofit and for-profit school settings and has experience with bookkeeping, back office management, and event management. Recent event work includes serving the Chinese Reconciliation Project Foundation, Passive House Northwest, the South Sound Reading Foundation, and the Autism Society of Washington. Timmian earned her bachelor's degree while working in the Academic Personnel Office and has also supported emergency service organizations, a fire station, and schools. With her background in the public and private sector, particularly in education and office management, Timmian is an asset to the team. Volunteerism is a passion of Timmian's and she loves being involved with and working around people.
	Anne Larsen Anne Larsen manages the EventSupport side of OrgSupport, helping nonprofit organizations create great events. Anne has almost two decades of nonprofit experience in the Thurston County region. From marketing to sponsor development to fundraising, and everything in between, Anne has done it all. Her attention to detail and non-stop list making will ensure your event is a success from start to finish. She has managed events small to large, including board retreats, golf tournaments, gala dinners and auctions, and educational conferences. Anne has served on several nonprofit boards in the community, establishing herself as a go-to expert in all areas of running a nonprofit organization. She has created events, directed volunteers, balanced budgets, toured venues, wrangled presenters and attendees, and managed marketing and promotional work. When discussing an event with clients, her favorite saying is "My advice is free, and I have a lot of it!". In her free time, Anne is raising a blended family of five adult kids, a large extended family, a great dane, and the sweetest yellow lab you have ever met. She enjoys live performances and being outdoors in the sun.
	Jennifer Hanson Jennifer brings to the OrgSupport team a background in administrative support, marketing, and event management in both tourism/hospitality and catering. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Washington State University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and their puppy Chief, family, and friends. Recreational pursuits include skiing in the winter, golfing in the summer and bowling year round.
	Sandy Williams Sandy started her career as a professional recording engineer, obtaining a degree in audio engineering from the Institute of Audio Research in New York City. She went on to work with a long list of recording artists and Grammy award winners including Alison Krauss and Union Station, Shania Twain, Neil Diamond, Janet Jackson, Donna Summer, Bad Company, Emmylou Harris, and Dolly Parton. Recognizing the obvious technical bridge from computer audio to computer graphics, Sandy eventually transitioned to website and graphic design, starting her own design firm. She also currently serves on the board with Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia. Her desire to help nonprofit organizations led her to join OrgSupport where her focus is maintaining our unique clients’ web and graphic identities. Sandy lives in Olympia with her husband, two teenage sons, and their adorable corgi-mix dog. She enjoys writing and recording music in her free time.
	Tracie Martinez Tracie brings a wealth of diverse skills to the OrgSupport team. She has worked professionally in general administration, event production, childhood education, and the culinary arts. She runs her own jewelry business and also enjoys singing, zip-lining, hiking and rock climbing.
	Michelle Tobin Michelle brings payroll and bookkeeping expertise to the OrgSupport team. She has served the bookkeeping needs of organizations including retail and nonprofit endeavors. As an OrgSupport employee she is a resource for OrgSupport clients with employees and payroll needs. As the treasurer for Ballet Northwest, Michelle knows firsthand the unique needs of nonprofits.
